Biography

The DUBA Band is a guitar-oriented band from surrounding Columbia, SC. One of the BEST original, independent, bands around and they're captivating audiences with their unique blend of original and popular cover songs. You can’t really put DUBA’s music into one genre. Blues, southern rock and rockin' country, alternative, rock, all rolled into one! Johnny Womble is a producer, songwriter and master of guitar, having played since age 14 and has been performing with lead singer and bass guitarist, Mary Womble, for over a decade. On drums is Larry Farina, some will recognize his voice from commercials but most don’t realize what awesome beats he can lay down. Currently performing at various events around the State, the DUBA Band has just begun creating their first CD to be released in 2010. The best thing about DUBA’s music is their love for playing feel good music with a positive energy involving the audience’s participation.
